The scientific committee invites submissions to present as a speaker or with an e-poster presentation. The list below shows possible topics for the presentations:

  • Simulation and Product conception

  • Simulation and industry 4.0

  • Tools for simulation: supercomputers, virtual technologies, artificial intelligence, applications, visualization

  • Education and training with simulation: evaluation, learning, pedagogy to develop technical and/or non-technical skills (human factor)

  • Simulation and risk prevention

  • Simulation and cyber security

  • Simulation for crisis management

  • Ethics in simulation

  • The economic factor of simulation

  • Interconnection of simulations


  • 24th June : abstract submission closing

  • 24th June - 24th July: review of the abstracts with comments to the authors

  • 24th July: send out acceptance and refusal notifications


To submit your abstract, please visit the website of the international magazine Frontiers and click on"Submit abstract". You will be redirected to the platform "Loop" to create your account. Once your account is created, please fill out the submission formular. Be careful to select "Event abstract" and to verify that the event ICMASim is selected.


Your abstract should not exceed 1500 words and 5 figures and should be written in English as the scientific comittee is international. 

When submitting your abstract, you can choose between oral and poster presentation according to your preferences. The final decision of the presentation form is taken by the scientific comittee.

All accepted communications will be published as an e-book on the website Frontiers.

The best abstracts will be rewarded. After ICMASim2019, the accepted abstracts may be published in a special edition of the international magazine Frontiers as a full article. This complete publication is on a volunteer basis and will be charged.

The costs for the top 3 publications of the best abstracts will be taken in charge.



The submission of an abstract indicates an understanding of the following rules for participation in ICMASim2019:

  • Participating authors are required to pay conference registration fees.

  • All author(s) approve submitting this work for presentation.

  • The author(s) transfer(s) all copyright ownership of the named abstract to ICMASim2019.

  • The author(s) should be available to present the abstract if selected for the ICMASim2019 program. The author(s) will immediately notify the ICMASim2019 Secretariat ( if they are unable to attend.
